Zoe's New Wooden Sushi Set

Perhaps it's because her parents love sushi so much. Zoe really seems to love her new toy.

Playful Zoe

Zoe is growing quickly. She's reaching out for things (which she immediately puts in her mouth), smiling all the time, making cute noises, and exploring her world. We're thinking about starting her on rice cereal - amazing that she's already at the age that you can give her solids...seems like she was just born yesterday.

She's awesome.

As far as the Tahoe report, we are getting a enormous amount of snow. It has snowed just about every day for 2 weeks and the accumulation is unbelievable. It's been a good year so far.

Zoe's First Christmas

Hi,

We had a great time this Christmas. Dottie and Abbi (Jaben's Mom and sister) came to visit. We went skiing and Jaben and I enjoyed having family babysit while we went Christmas shopping. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Hope to see you soon.

We just got a HUGE amount of snow so come visit and ski (or ride).

Zoe is gaining lots of weight and finally has some baby rolls on her legs and arms. She's the cutest. Smiling all the time and gooing. The development is so rapid is hard to believe.

Hi everybody. Sorry it's been so long. Here are some more pictures of Zoe.

Zoe takes a bath, etc.

Here are some new pictures of Zoe in the bath. She seems to like bath time. At her last visit to the Pediatrician, she weighted 6 lbs 15 oz so I'm thinking she's over 7 lbs now. She such a good baby - sleeps and eats well and only cries when she's hungry, bored or overly tired. She seems to be smiling more and more but we are unsure of the inspiration for her expressions.

Staying in touch...not so easy

Hi all,

I am currently typing this with one hand as I hold Zoe with the other. She's awesome. She's looking around more and more, tracking things and recognizes my and Jaben's voices. Oh, she likes to suck our fingers. See exhibit A.

There is always something to do - change a diaper, feeding, wash clothes, sleep in there somewhere, and let's not even talk about how I need to study and write papers. Jaben is a great Dad. He's doing more than I could have imagine. Please keep posting funny things...Chris?

Hi everyone. Zoe is finally putting on some weight, keeping her eyes open for more than a few minutes and seems to be smiling, although Jaben and I might be imagining that part. She's sleeping, at times, in 4 to 5 hour increments which makes life in the middle of the night more enjoyable. Here are a few more photos...
