Better late...

So these pictures are from our trip to Mexico in December and a few from Christmas. Better late than never. In Mexico we stayed with a family, the little girl in the picture with Zoe is the granddaughter, Maria Jose, of the woman, Mavi, whose house we stayed. It was so fun.

Hi all,

I'm just finishing up with school and Jaben is ready to ski. We both are really. Now we just need some snow. Zoe is doing great. She's using a fork or spoon when eating, talking in a language that is all her own that we sometimes understand, and having a great time getting into every drawer in the house. We are going to Mexico for 2 weeks on the 7th of December to learn Spanish and can't wait to swim in the ocean.

Zoe's New Adventures

Hello!

Things are good in Tahoe this summer. Jaben is working a lot and I just finished the summer semester. One more semester to go and I'll have my masters. Yeppee!

Zoe is growing so quickly. She is holding on objects and walking. She has a little toy that she have walk behind and does great except for the occasional veer to the right or left. She lets go of whatever she's holding on to once and a while and balances for a few seconds. We think she'll be walking soon as she never stops moving and once she figures out she can get to whatever she wants faster, well, she's going to do it.

Oh, and while she was in Pennsylvania recently, the Brenoel family introduced her to Rolling Rock...

Zoe, a whole new baby.

Hi all,

It's been forever in baby time that we have updated the blog. Forgive us. The good news is that there are lots of things to tell you. Zoe is crawling, standing up and getting back down, getting upset when you take something away from her that she finds particularly interesting, and holding her own bottle - when it's not one of the glass ones. She laughs all the time and finds things that Jaben and I so hilarious which feels great.

Hope everyone is doing well. It's been raining here for a week and I'm ready for the sun to come out and summer to begin.

Zoe's New Wooden Sushi Set

Perhaps it's because her parents love sushi so much. Zoe really seems to love her new toy.
